I am remembering someone incredibly special, and in their honour I am collecting donations for one of their favourite charities, RSPCA South Australia.
RSPCA South Australia rescues, rehabilitates and rehomes animals across the state, caring for over 8,000 animals every year. It is the only charitable body responsible for investigating and prosecuting cruelty cases within South Australia, with the small team of inspectors responding to over 4,000 reports of cruelty last year. Their important animal welfare work is almost entirely funded by community donations, and they rely on the goodwill of supporters to continue to be there for animals at their time of greatest need.
Thanks to the RSPCA, my angel Toffee was given a chance to have a happy and safe life that was filled with love. Without the RSPCA, her foster carer, and fundraising support, she never would have been able to receive the treatment and care that allowed her to be adopted by me 5 and a half years ago.
In her memory, we can make a difference in the lives of the animals of South Australia. Thank you!
